Myrrh started with a dream that one day, everyone will know that the value of myrrh is deeper than skin deep! In 2001, the ‘Sound of Myrrh’ was borne as the title of my CD. One of my songs was written about myrrh. The message of the gift of myrrh (as one of the most popular oils of ancient history) was shared as the intro to the song. Soon, I received invitations to talk about myrrh much more than receiving invitations to sing! (I got the message!)

This lead to me buying my first bottle of myrrh essential oil (for a whopping R78) as I wanted to experience my message tangibly.

Many bottles later, many more oils were added to the list of oils and products in the form of anointing oils, creams, essential oils and literature!

Hundreds of hours and kilometres later, we presented workshops from Bible study groups to retirement homes, from churches to home-based groups. The deeper symbolic and prophetic as well as therapeutic values were shared with audiences all over South Africa and beyond.

The ancient gift of myrrh truly became an unexpected modern message of hope for the soul, body and spirit.

In the same way, each product on our pricelist was created with much love and attention. Each fragrance was chosen for its unique emotional language and the message it conveys to our customers.

Now, after 20 years in the industry, we’ve decided that Myrrh deserves a new mantle! We have always been proud of our look and feel, but we wanted to bring something new and fresh to our much deserving clients!
